On November 8th 2012, the Netherlands Aerospace NDT Board held their third Expert Day in Amstelveen. This day turned out to be a major success (view the Evaluation) since an audience of more than 60 participants were present from both the Netherlands and Belgium. Among the participants were representatives from Dutch Civil Aviation Authorities, Part-21 design and production organisations, Part-145 maintenance organisations, research & development, and Royal Netherlands Air Force.

The day featured presentations by:

- NANDT Board
- Vidisco (on Digital Radiography in the aerospace industry)
- Fokker (on the impact of Nadcap on NDO)
- KLM (Barkhausen Noise inspection on KLM Engineering & Maintenance)
- KLM (NDT in Aircraft Maintenance)
- SABCA (New NDT installations)
- TiaT Europe (NDO in composite materials)

A small exhibition was set-up to give participants an opportunity to meet with NDO suppliers and manufacturers, such as Benelux NDT & Inspections Supplies, De Looper NDO, GE Measurement & Control, ICM X-Ray, Innogrind-Stresstech, Olympus Industrial Benelux, Servicing Europe NDT and TiaT Europe B.V. / Services Europe B.V. The day ended with a networking reception.
